Stabilizing or window dressing?

The number of weekly bull counter doesn't change much. They are:
AHP ASDION ATIS BTM CHASE CHEEWAH DELLOYD DKLS FPI FRB GFB GPERAK-NA INGENS INIX IRCB JETSON-WA KKB MAGNUM METACOR MLAB MSC MTDINFR MUDA NALURI NCB NESTLE NTPM PACMAS PARAGON PICORP PORTRAD PSPRING PTB RAPID RAPID-WA SCOMAL SEQUOIA SITATT SRII SUNCRN TAMADAM-WA TCUBES TMCLIFE TOCEAN TRACOMA WARISAN

The number of weekly bear counter has drop to 759. Is the market stabilizing or just a window dressing for the end of 1st quarter?

I'm stalking Digi. Nothing else.

Bears still up

The number of weekly bears is now at 808. The number of weekly bulls increased a little bit to 48. The bulls are:
ABFMY1 AMTEK ASDION ATIS BINTAI BTM CHASE CHEEWAH CME CYBERT DAYA DELLOYD DFZ-PD DKLS EG-WB FPI FRB GOLSTA GPERAK-NA INIX IRCB JERASIA KKB LOH&LOH MAGNUM METACOR MLAB MSC MTDINFR NALURI NCB NVMULTI PACMAS PARAGON PICORP PORTRAD PPEDANA PTB RAPID RAPID-WA SEQUOIA SITATT SRII TMCLIFE TOCEAN TRACOMA UBG WARISAN

The boat is rocking harder. This political uncertainty will surely bring down the market more. Still staying out of the market. Looking at US market, my interpretation is that it is going for a rebound. Looking at KLCI chart, it is oversold too. Maybe it is time for a rebound too. How to play a rebound? I don't have a game plan at all.

Bulls still down

Bull counters continue to shrink:
AMWAY ASDION BTM CHASE CME DAYA DELLOYD DKLS DUTALND-LB FPI FRB GPERAK-NA IJMPLNT INIX ITRONIC JETSON-LA KKB LOH&LOH MAGNUM METACOR METECH MHOUSE MTDINFR NALURI NCB PACMAS PICORP PPEDANA PTB RAPID RAPID-WA SITATT SRII SUNCRN TIENWAH TMCLIFE TOCEAN TRACOMA UBG WARISAN WWTKH (Total = 41)

There are now 776 bearish securities. It is easier to buy a counter that is going down than up. HKSE and SGX warrants are all also down. How long will this continue?

Tsunami everywhere

First election tsunami. Then stock market tsunami. First time I see a 10%. First time for everyone. Now we know the circuit breaker has been tested and worked.

I guess from now onwards, political-linked counters are to be avoided. I did not dare to buy today. Dare not catch a falling knife, even for a rebound play.

If one is hoping for a bull market, from my chart reading, I estimate that it will take a least a year to repair the technicals (if it stops sliding).

With recession in the US, I guess that work competition will get tougher now. So, time to concentrate on my daily job and stop dreaming of making it in the stock market.

What's left for the bulls?

Only 72 counters left (7 Mar 08) that are considered to be in the bullish stage but many are in the process of dropping out:
AMWAY ANNJOO ATIS BAT BSDREIT CCK CCMDBIO CHASE CHASE-PA CME CYBERT DAYA DELLOYD DFZ-PC DFZ-PD DKLS DUTALND-LB ETITECH FCW FRB GNEALY GPERAK-NA HTPADU IJMPLNT IMASPRO INIX IRETEX ITRONIC JAYCORP KKB KMLOONG KMLOONG-WA KRETAM-LA KULIM KULIM-WB KURNIA KWANTAS LOH&LOH MAGNUM MFLOUR MHOUSE MTDINFR NALURI NCB NEPLINE NEXNEWS NVMULTI PACMAS PICORP PK PLB-WA PORTRAD PPEDANA RAMUNIA RAMUNIA-PA RAMUNIA-WA RAPID RAPID-WA SEQUOIA SITATT SOP SOP-WA SSTEEL STAR TOCEAN TRACOMA UBG UTDPLT VERSATL WARISAN WWTKH YEELEE

The bears? There are 731 of 'em. Too long to put in the blog. So, that's at 10 to 1 ratio for the bears.

It is definite that BN majority will be reduced this Saturday. Does that mean another round of selling come Monday?

To proxyclub, I have to presume you work in a brokerage based on your "advice". Why? By following your suggestion, one would have to pay a minimum of RM28,000 for all the counters in KLSE (ok...I'm not sure the number, but I guess it is around 1000 excluding the warrants). Why not just invest in an ETF?
