Back to the Futures

I thought I have enough knowledge to go into combat. I was young and foolish. I was easily influenced by the "guru" broker. "Trading was easy," says him. I got in with confidence. Unfortunately, I was badly injured. The sweet talk was far from the truth. It was a cruel battleground. You are fighting against the guru, master and Jedi that are far better than you. My last battle was Dec 2005.

Since then, I have gone back to training, built up my knowledge. Learned to be humble. Learned what have I done wrongly. Learned how to prepare myself mentally.

Now, I know on how to trade stocks. I also know on how to trade warrants/options. Last Friday, I am back into the futures. It took 4 years and 4 months for me to regain my courage to go back into battle. It took so long because I find it very hard to heal oneself when you have a mental scar. This time, I know that it will turn out better than last time.

Good luck to you.

I m still raw, going into the battle without much knowledge. I m injured too, but not out.

I will want to see that it is a journey, rather than a battle to be won. Every step I take, I have to cautiously reminding myself to learn ... and to learn from the pain of defeats.

May the victory be with you.

Focus on one type of trade and do it well. No point in getting into so many types of trades. Good Luck.

You need to hedge your profit during a downturn. Maybe one day, I will let go of trading warrants when I can handle the futures well.
